The Patchwork Quilt Board of Directors is delighted to announce that PQ will be moving in late May to Parkway United Church of Christ at Washburn and Lowry in North Minneapolis. The new site provides much needed additional space–both indoor and outdoor–and will enable PQ to serve more children. We will add our own eight week summer program beginning in June and will expand our after-school programming by 20% in the Fall. Ready for School. Ready for Work. Ready for Life!

Friends of Patchwork Quilt: plans are beginning for our second annual “Celebrating PQ Scholars” event to be held at the Capri Theater on Sunday April 14. Please consider joining the planning committee. Great people, fun opportunities. First meeting at PQ on Wed January 16 at 4:30 p.m. Please be in touch 612-270-0923.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join our scholars and junior volunteers, parents, staff, volunteers and Board for the annual Patchwork Quilt Christmas program.  It will be held at PQ beginning at 6 p.m.  Friday, December 20.  Refreshments will provided.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Thanks to the many donors who supported Patchwork Quilt on GiveMN’s Give to the Max day November 15.  Combined with the two matches (from Youthprise and the PQ Board), we raised a total of $8,405.  All funds go to support our operations and to prepare our scholars to be Ready for School, Ready for Work, Ready For Life
